If you want to be notified of tour dates as they are announced, go to www.pollstar.com and put Eric on your "notify" list. It looks like he's just posted a June 11 date in Arkansas, right after the Tx gig, so I'm willing to bet it's time for the US tour this summer. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I know that I am excited. It does makes sense though that there would be a U.S. tour to more or less coincide with the release of the new album. It promises to be a blues based concert since that is the theme of the new album.

The last one of these "all blues nights" was a concert I caught of him when he was touring with Muddy Waters (circa early to mid 80's). Did you catch that tour?

Nope, but I sure woulda loved to. Wow, EC and Mud. I envy you more each day. I saw the Journeyman, Pilgrim and Reptile tours (Drove from Merced to Anaheim Pond for Pilgrim, then turned around and drove home after the show). All were spectacular, of course.

I have YET to see him play "Old Love", however, either accoustic or electric, as it is, without question, his most moving original blues, with "River of Tears" (live- WAY diff from CD version) being a close second (I've seen him play that twice....MIND BLOWING).

Can't wait. Don't care if he's sitting on the stage with an overturned laundry tub and a broom handle. IT's gonna be incredible.

Interesting site for libretto and song credits-
