Clapton has just announced tour dates for Great Britain. I suspect, if this follows last year's pattern, that US dates will be announced any time. OK, fine, I'm HOPING this means US tour dates will be announced.

Re: British Tour Dates 2006
Sun, November 6, 2005 - 2:08 PMcan't wait to see EC for the 7th time if he comes anywhere near Chicago or Milwaukee. I had the privilege of seeing him in Dallas at the Crossroads Festival and don't miss him when he comes to the area. And a big F-U to all the Britney Spears fans......listen to real music! Check out my band at www.shamelessplace.com, or www.myspace.com/shamelessplace
We play a lot of Clapton, Hendrix and Tom Petty, hope you all enjoy

Re: British Tour Dates 2006
Mon, November 7, 2005 - 5:55 PMHey there,
I read that the much talked about biography of his (which he is reportedly getting just shy of six million to do) will be out in 2006 and that a world tour will also be around that time.
I hope the U.S. seats are affordable. I could never have bought a ticket for the Cream thing in New York even if I had lived in the city. Way out of my price range.

Re: British Tour Dates 2006
Mon, November 7, 2005 - 11:45 PMLast tour, tickets on the floor for EC ran around $150 apiece on Craigslist in the SF Bay Area for the San Jose shows. Curiously enough, the Saturday show had tickets left at the end of the night. Sure, they were nosebleed seats, but they did NOT sell out two nights in the SF Bay Area. I guess there's too many people spending their money on Brittney Spears or Cher.
*trying to figure out how to type "puking sounds" here* ;-)
